Whoops! Where did those links go? They seem to have locked onto the first post, and fallen off the screen!

Or did I push them with the big Solstice picture?

It is the big picture. I'll fix it so it works in just a bit (I have a lot of free time at work, I'm about to head out the door to go there).

I'll change the picture, too...

I did this on a little Think Pad, and didn't check out the layout until later.

All a learning curve, I guess - given that people view websites in Mac and PC, different screen resolutions, different browsers, etc.

You can please mosbunall of the people part of the time, and part of the people sombunall of the time....

The new page layout should accommodate viewers on almost any OS + browser combination, provided that pictures posted do not exceed 600 pixels of width.

The content now expands to the edges of the browser window without the large black-space on either side. Is this acceptable?

Great picture by the way!

Thanks for that...I may kick it back out again tomorrow...I don't know if we really want to keep a linear diary feel to this, or a publishing site with an index (?)

Previous Posts do work like bookmarks, or links to other pages would (in a magazine) but if they accumulate we may prefer to spin off peripheral blogs, or an occasional contents page (?)

Who's in the picture? What a beautiful shot.

Found on the web, sad to say, by putting in Summer Solstice and Avebury...
