Hey guys. Wanted to pay 23 euros but on the site it comes up as dollars. Wahtsup??

Bobby Campbell said...

Guess there was a slight disconnect on the Paypal set up! I don't have access to change it, though $29.66 converts to 23 Euros, but that's not quite as fun I suppose. Sorry for the confusion!

Alias Bogus said...

Sorry, Tony, it looks as though the payment method didn't get a road test.

Because it got set up in the USA it seems to default to a dollar account. In addition, it appears you can't change the amount (if you - or anyone - planned to donate a smaller amount).

I will try to find out the payment in address, so you can simply log into PayPal and create the amount yourself.

Or maybe someone can figure out how to fix the button, before we drive everyone crazy!

Bobby Campbell said...

You can indeed change the dollar amount. When you click the button it takes you to a paypal page with an amount entry box, where you can enter the desired amount. I just signed up for the low low price of $1!

Bogus Magus said...

Aha! In that case, perhaps we should just make it $23.

That's a little cheaper, too.

What happened to the maybelogic.com email? Wanted to ask a question but got mailer-daemon. So looking forward to an MLA course!

Hi Psuke!

I am not exactly sure which email you wanted to use, but it seems possible that old MLA admin emails don't work any more.

If you want some help with access to the course, you can email us (the OM moderators) at onlymaybe@gmail.com and we will try to help.

very vague instructions for registration. NOthing happened after I paid money on paypal. How do you access the course?

Bogus Magus said...

Hi Nicholas!

I don't manage the actual MLA site, but have you registered there as a student?

There are public forums inside, after you register, where you can ask again, if the automated PayPal access to this specific course does not work for you.

Register, log in, and then check if your course access appears. Hopefully Admin will have fixed the PayPal hiccup, otherwise one of the online staff can make sure you get in, using a manual override.

I hope that helps.
