"The virtual being more real than the real". (and whats real?)

Also Bob's repeating of the Orson Welles - F For Fake - tales and equations seem to fit neatly into Baudrillard's models and metaphors.

Bob once edited an edition of (semiotexte) which Jean Baudrillard also published works with. Rudy Rucker and the great Hakim Bey as you all probably know - were a part of the same camp. And many more....
http://www.semiotexte.com/

At the website RAW's icon is placed just above Baudrillard's icon near the top right hand side.Steve Fly Agarichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15471582582737353275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13768656.post-15436926039292456692009-01-11T11:32:00.000+00:002009-01-11T11:32:00.000+00:00As usual - useful stuff, Fly!I had only a jumble o...As usual - useful stuff, Fly!

I had only a jumble of notes (as I read somewhere recently "this is a blog post, not a thesis") which I have not found a way to put in order yet, but will certainly follow up your clues.

Great quote! I have tended to shy away from Baudrillard, thinking him one of those impenetrable French writers (too abstract and post-modern). Will now have somewhere to start.Bogus Magushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00707265560317895426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13768656.post-19466723829795265012009-01-11T02:16:00.000+00:002009-01-11T02:16:00.000+00:00I found the late - Jean Baudrillard - spot on, in ...I found the late - Jean Baudrillard - spot on, in describing the useless and outdated secret service MYTH's recycled out of nothing like credit.
Le Carre's new book "A Most Wanted Man" seems essential reading for any independent and open minded 911 researcher, plus some TSOG tentacles for those who can stomach the Heavy trip.

“Will art have the right to a second, interminable existence, like the secret services that, as we know, haven’t had any secrets to steal or exchange for some time but who still continue to flourish in utter superstition of their usefulness, perpetuating their own myth. -- Baudrillard, The Conspiracy of Art. 1996.

Le Carre' writes of Espiocrats.
