Equinox - the same everywhere

Well, we reached the Equinox and indeed the latest edition of Maybe Quarterly got to appear under its new anarchic editorial process.

Lots of variety, sound samples, images, poems, articles and interviews which may give you a feel for the eclectic electric group that form the 'student body' at the Maybe Logic Academy.

Check it out. Check out the fantastic new courses on offer.

Come visit, you can join the general forum for $60 per year, if you don't want to commit to a course. We don't mean to scare anyone away :-) Go look at the demo site.

"The Sun is at its lowest path in the sky on the Winter Solstice. After that day the Sun follows a higher and higher path through the sky each day until it is in the sky for exactly 12 hours. On the Spring Equinox the Sun rises exactly in the east travels through the sky for 12 hours and sets exactly in the west. On the Equinox this is the motion of the Sun through the sky for everyone on earth. Every place on earth experiences a 12 hours day twice a year on the Spring and Fall Equinox." Hey thanks Anon! Most of our comments seem like just like mini-ads (maybe yours could appear that way) but I like Tea as it happens. Actually I love coffee more. Still if you grow up in England then (like Arthur Dent in H2G2) you think tea solves most things, and as I had the name Toby Philpott I got lots of jokes about teapots, etc at my school. The great British cycle Tea/Pee. Then again, the Buddhists like their green tea for alertness in meditation, and my Sixties American friends used to smoke 'tea'...oh wait, I guess...uh...

An' I said, "Oh, I didn't know that,
But then again, there's only one I've met
An' he just smoked my eyelids
An' punched my cigarette."
Oh, Mama, can this really be the end,
To be stuck inside of Mobile
With the Memphis blues again.
